  • Eating causes a shift in consciousness, so weight loss becomes permanent.
  • Consciousness work concerns the truth of our inner experience. It does not involve theory, hypotheses, scientific reasoning, or logic.
  • What is held in the mind manifests within the body.
  • There is the body’s experience via sensation. Sensation is experienced in the mind, and the mind is experienced in consciousness.
  • There is a state beyond consciousness itself that is still and unmoving and allows us to be aware of what is going on in consciousness; it is called the state of awareness.
  • If the entire weight problem is a phenomenon occurring within consciousness, then consciousness is more powerful than the mind, which is more powerful than the senses, which are more powerful than the body; therefore, we can bring about a shift in the body by merely addressing that consciousness.
  • The things that are extraordinarily complicated are generally far from the truth. The truth is usually amazingly simple.
  • We are the victims of a behavioural pattern, a condition that has nothing to do with willpower or morality.

  • The techniques we use involve the mind and consciousness, so we do not have to be very concerned with handling the body as such.
  • The technique, which I used personally to lose per cent of my body weight (fifty pounds) some years ago, enabled me to reach my desired weight.

You just experience it… you silently go into consciousness itself, into the inner experience of what you are experiencing and let go of resisting it…

  • just enjoy deep hunger without labelling or naming it like a Willow tree, not resist like an oak tree.
  • It is a good idea to start the process on a weekend when at home.
  • Start “Anticipatory Eating’ It means to never eat when we are hungry.
  • The first two days, and probably for the first week or two, we never allow ourselves to eat when we are hungry.
  • If you will be hungry by 6pm, eat around 4:45 PM or even eat a cheese sandwich
  • You may feel blankness or emptiness
  • One thing to do, for instance, is to nap.
  • After a twenty-minute nap, we feel fantastic.
  • It usually takes exactly one day to get off eating, hunger, and appetite if we allow ourselves to be reprogrammed.
  • We can speed up weight reduction by going for a high-protein diet.
  • Eating sugar on an empty stomach is seriously deleterious to the goals of the program.
  • The only way to beat the cycle is to rise above it, transcend it, and be beyond it.
